About Me

I've finished a new print titled "Into the Swarm". It shows Heinz Bär in his
Me-262 numbered red 13 engaging a group of P-47's enroute to the Lechfeld airbase. This was voted picture of the week on the 3D artist website.
I've added a new image to the Gallery. This shows a low level bombing attack on a bridge by Duane Buholz of the 509th Fighter Squadron flying 'Ski-UMah II'.
Some updates finally, the P-47D is finished and textured, I've also added a new print 'Towards Kharkov' to the Gallery.
Added a portrait of the Macchi 205 'Veltro' to the Gallery
A new render of the Macchi 205 'Veltro' has been uploaded.

I've also added a second page to the Gallery, so take note the new Page links are at the top.

My name is Dieter Meyer, I'm a freelance 3D Illustrator currently living in Canada. I love to create aviation art and tank art along with varied interests in other subjects such as motorsports and science fiction.

My main 3D program of choice is Modo 401and Photoshop for compositing and painting my artwork. I have recently started to use Corel Painter and Zbrush to further enhance the look of my art and models.

My main area of expertise is definitely creating high poly hard surface models, though I am branching out more to create more human models to add to my scenes.

I am of course available for contract work and commission work so don't hesitate to contact me for more info.
